Supervision
Clinical supervision is an essential tool when working with complex children and families and aids child focused decision making. Supervision can provide a space to reflect on practice and think through emotive and difficult situations.
Supervision provides time to consider our own needs and process the sometimes painful emotions that work with this client group can elicit. Making time for supervision can allow us to provide better, more effective services for the children and families we support.
At Oasis Psychology, we provide supervision for a range of professionals working with complex children and young people. We use a DDP informed model to be curious about the needs of children and young people and empathise with their needs. There can be space in supervision for formulation, for reflection and for moving cases forward.
Clinical Supervision
One-to-one supervision can be provided to any professional working with children with attachment needs or developmental trauma.
We are also able to offer supervision to groups of professionals either working using the therpeutic models or working together with families.
Supervision sessions are underpinned by Attachment Theory, DDP, and Cognitive Analytic Approaches.
Supervision can be tailored to suits the needs of the professional and can be offered face to face or online.
